Katie spent nearly a decade in the music industry marketing for top-selling musicians like Maroon 5, Hollywood Undead, Five Finger Death Punch, as well as independent artists.
Katie ran a profitable website about music education, internships, and entry-level jobs, partnering with companies like Warner Music Group, Buzzfeed, The GRAMMY Foundation, SiriusXM, and the National Association of Broadcasters.
Most recently, Katie has led non-profit campaigns on media and tech policy and DEIA -- creating media guides, model policies, and report cards and collaborating with major tech companies like YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Meta, and Twitter to improve how traditional and social media companies handle hate speech, disinformation, representation, and extremism.
